The name “Dara,” a poetic Indonesian reference to “young woman” was chosen to reflect the duo behind Dara Boutique Hotel, Roberta and Kartika, charmingly known as “Dua Dara” — two young women, who are dedicated to creating a haven that resonates with Bali’s enchanting culture while embracing contemporary aesthetics.

Our property’s clean, monochromatic palette highlights the natural beauty of its surroundings. The interiors feature handmade cement tiles from Tegel Kunci Jogja, curated furniture sourced all over Indonesia, and one-of-a-kind paintings by Brazilian artist Danka Umbert.
